Sawara Itako bike tour from/to Narita International Airport (58km course, approx. 6 hours)
Sawara / Itako, where located near Narita Airport, is a historic and popular tourist destination since 200 years ago.
There are beautiful cycling roads along the Tone River or Lake Kasumigaura.
Ride the cycling road with your local guide.
Seasonal flowers like a cherry blossoms, birds and fruits etc.
They are waiting for your coming. You just need wearing your sneakers.
We lend hybrid bikes, helmets, gloves, eyeglasses, cycling wear and mineral water.
Itinerary
Journey: 58km course, approx. 6 hours
08:30 We will pick you up at ①Opposite side of Narita Airport Terminal 2 Bus Stop No.27 or ②Hotels in Narita City.
09:00 Move to Road Station Kohzaki by car and check-in. Payment of fees, fitting of rental equipment, course explanation. Then departs the cycling road along the Tone River
10:00 Walk around the old town of Sawara with the atmosphere of the Edo period.
11:00 Visit Katori Jingu Shrine where is one of Japan's leading power spots
12:30 Walk around Itako City facing Lake Kasumigaura. Lunch time. (Self Payment)
13:30 Departs Itako
14:00 Yokotone-Kohmon Park with beautiful row of cherry trees.
15:30 Return to the starting point and return rental equipment.
16:00 Transfer to Narita Airport or Hotels in Narita City / Inzei City or Narita Yukawa Station / Chiba Newtown Chuo Station.
* Rest for 5 minutes every 30 minutes.
* Arrival time may change by customer's pace.
